The AISD Archery Program is gearing up for another exiting season of competition. The archery program is made up of students from six schools in the Arlington Independent School District. The schools are Arlington HS, Bowie HS, Lamar HS, Martin HS, Sam Houston HS, and Seguin HS. We currently have close to 450 students who will participate in the upcoming season. We all have a great passion for what we do and all of our kids do an excellent job of preparing to be leaders, both on the range and in our communities. Last season, Martin HS won the State Championship and this year we have a goal of getting all six schools in the Top Ten, with an ultimate goal of a national championship for one of our teams.

As our archery athletes continue their hard work in the classroom and in practice, honing their bow skills, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we try to raise the necessary money for the best resources and equipment for our program. We have many needs to be able to support so many kids who love this sport. We have all been challenged to raise $300 each but my personal goal is to raise more.  The contributions we receive will be used to cover costs such as bleacher seating and flat screen monitors and cameras for spectator viewing during competition, travel costs for the state and national tournaments, and the constant replacement of equipment ranging from bows, arrows, and targets. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide us with the support needed to develop our kids into strong, disciplined young men and women of character, integrity, and pride.
