What else can I do to promote awareness to my cause and my fund raising?
Facebook is a name that is recognized around the globe and has become the most popular social networking site in the world. We strongly encourage you to leverage Facebook to promote your cause. BoostMeUp is able to integrate your donation page with Facebook to drive even more funding for your cause. Historically, when users connect their fundraising account to Facebook they raise up to 50% more than those users who did not. We also encourage you to drive awareness of your cause through Instagram, Twitter, and any other social networking sites you or your supporters are a member of.
What can I raise money for?
BoostMeUp can be used to raise money for just about any cause you care about. We also help Teams and Groups run highly effective fundraising campaigns for their entire organization. Common causes for cause fundraisers are typically medical expenses, volunteer projects, education costs, missions/tours, weddings/honeymoons, arts, funerals/memorials, research/business development, pet/animal needs, academic teams/clubs, charitable events, and local chapter support for National Campaigns (Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, YMCA, Children’s Miracle Network, etc). Outside of illegal activity, you can raise money for almost any cause. BoostMeUp has a number of categories you can browse to determine if your cause is purposeful or if you would like to donate to a specific category of need.
Do I have to be recognized as non-profit to use this?

Is the Site Secure?
BoostMeUp uses the very best technology, physical security, and payment processing encryption to ensure your donors are protected. All personal information is secure, and your online payments are safe. At BoostMeUp, we do not ask you to submit banking information until you know your campaign was successful and you are ready to withdraw your funds. Also, we NEVER share any information about you or your supporters to any 3rd party.
How Will I Know When a Donation is Made?
We know you’re passionate about your cause or need, so we will notify you immediately via email each time a supporter donates.
How do I withdraw the money that has been raised for my fundraiser?
Rest assured your funds are safe and secure on BoostMeUp. After your campaign has started receiving donations, you can begin to make withdrawals at your convenience. Simply click the “Withdraw” button inside your BoostMeUp account and follow the on-screen instructions. Please allow 3-5 days for your account to be credited with your withdraw amount.
Can I enter a fake name or use someone else’s personal information?
No. BoostMeUp has built a reputation of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness that users and donors have come to rely on for fundraising. Using inaccurate information can cause the delay or prevent the release of the funds you raised. It can also lead to the suspension and termination of the account.
What do I need to know about taxes?
Every tax situation is slightly different and have a wide spectrum of answers. We encourage you to consult a tax professional with your specific questions. If the cause, team, or group you are supporting is a registered 501(c), then generally, it is tax deductible.
Can I share my BoostMeUP fund raising efforts with media outlets?
Absolutely. While we will never speak on your behalf, BoostMeUp will partner with you on any media requests we receive, whether it’s just for background information on your campaign or to request an interview with you.
