Let's go Mavericks!

We need your help...2017 marks a very special 50th anniversary season since George Barradas founded this amazing youth organization.

His motto "to carry a book in one hand and a football in the other" lives on today as a member of the GYFL and one of the oldest continuously run youth sports programs in Greenwich.

With a proud history of over 1000 alumni players, some who now coach for the Mavericks or have children playing for the Mavericks and throughout the GYFL.

Throughout the past 50 years this non profit organization has helped forge lifelong friendships and memories, developed character, self discipline and self confidence in its players and helped to create terrific childhood memories.

Help us celebrate as we raise the funding necessary to update player helmets, uniforms, other practice equipment and to provide player scholarships for those in need.  Members of our board have already pledged more than $10,000. The first 50 donors that contribute $250.00 or more, will be sent an old keepsake Mavericks Helmet and the donation will be used to replace current inventory. Please help us achieve our goal to raise $50k this year and donate today!
