We are excited about the significant things happening in our Football Program at East Coweta High School, both on and off the field.   Reflecting on the past year, our program experienced some truly amazing feats. Our student athletes endured an attack from an outside organization and demonstrated perseverance in the face of adversity. It was this same perseverance that united our students, faculty and community in the midst of such a challenging occasion.    We are extremely proud of these young men and how they embraced such a trial with tenacity and determination. Moving forward we are encouraged that this event and additional team building activities will launch this program into next year and beyond.    The East Coweta Football Program is striving to become an elite program by both developing athletes on the field and equipping young men for the future. It is our desire as coaches that our players have the greatest experience possible and also to provide them with the resources necessary to be successful.   There are many essentials required to manage and operate an elite football program. We have set a 2018 Team Goal of raising $120,000 to assist in meeting various team needs. The program has challenged each individual player with raising $800. In addition, they will each have the opportunity to raise additional funds.    All of the proceeds collected through this fundraiser and your contribution will be going directly toward our players needs and essentials. A few examples of such essentials include: updated equipment ( helmets, shoulder pads, etc.), uniforms, pre-game meals, 7 on 7 camps, nutrition tables, FCA Team Camp, travel costs during the season, field equipment and much more.  We have the impressive opportunity to open our 2018 season in the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Our team has also been awarded the privilege to play in University Stadium, which is the home of the University of West Georgia Wolves. In addition, our 2018 team will be playing against some of the top teams in the State next Fall with our challenging non-region schedule.    It's an exciting time to be a part of East Coweta Football! We have over 150 student athletes in the program and any contribution you provide will help us reach our goal as a Team. Together we can make this happen! Your support will have an immense impact on our young people today and our future of impacting young lives.
