Wishes Granted was born to Lizzie on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 4:20  in the morning.  Lizzie was artificially inseminated as part of the Vet Assist Program at West Broward High School in West Pembroke Pines.  She was pregnant for a total of 372 days. (Normal gestation period for a horse is 11 months and 11 days.)

Wishes Granted joined our world but with some complications. She is not able to stand up on her own yet and all of the students in the Vet Assist program, along with their wonderful Vet teacher, Tara Terribile, have been on 24 hours 7 days a week watch over Wishes. In the past week, Wishes had to be put on a feeding tube because she has difficulty feeding from Lizzie.  The veterinarian bills are mounting and the Vet Booster Club is trying their best to help with Wishes.
